It’s the year of the big anniversary! On 8 February 2026, Paula Modersohn-Becker (1876–1907), one of the most significant artists of the modern era, would have turned 150. Barely recognised during her lifetime, her works are now exhibited in New York, Paris and Chicago. Come and celebrate with us! This tour takes you to the key locations of her creative life and career: Bremen and Worpswede. Visit the museum dedicated to her in the Hanseatic city, featuring an exclusive special exhibition, and four further museums in the beautiful artists’ village of Worpswede, hosting the special exhibition ‘Impuls Paula’.

Schedule
On your arrival day (Fridays), you’ll check into your chosen hotel. The next morning, after a hearty breakfast, you’ll set off at around 9 am from Bremen Central Station for a special experience: you’ll travel to the artists’ village of Worpswede on the historic Moorexpress. You’ll receive the exact timetable with your booking confirmation.
At the local tourist information centre, you will receive your museum ticket, which grants you access to the following museums: Barkenhoff, Haus im Schluh, Große Kunstschau, Kunsthalle Worpswede.
You will also receive free entry to the Böttcherstraße museums in the heart of Bremen on a day of your choice.
